Nita Bruce

Nita studied zoology at Manchester University. She is now a Systems Developer living and working in Peterborough, England.
She shares her life with her partner Ronnie, four cats and a large tank of fresh water tropical fish.

She started making bears in 1996 and already has bears in such far flung places as the USA, Australia, Germany and the Netherlands.

Nita volunteered to make a one-of-a-kind bear for the Libearty Auction at Christies. Fern was one of the first bears that Nita had designed herself and the reaction from people to Fern convinced her she should make more bears and offer them for sale, hence, Posh Paws.

Making bears is a relaxation (most of the time!) for Nita, and she has no intention of turning her bear making into a large scale business. This will hopefully guarantee her bears become rare collectors items in the future!
